dMessage™ offers all the features you need:
  • - Advanced message editing: use templates, document sharing, multiple languages
  • - Personalized messaging: use LDAP directories, time schedules, filter library
  • - Easy maintenance and administration: manage archive and pop-up sending

Editing

  • Message templates

Use the editing console to design and manage templates for your most frequently sent messages.
Once you have created the template, send a message based on this template in just one click.

  • Import rtf files

The .rtf file import feature lets you send messages directly from a pre-designed .rtf file. Send genuine information bulletins to your colleagues instead of just plain messages.

  • Share documents or applications

When editing a pop-up message, you can add links to any kind of document (.pdf, .doc, .ppt, .xls, etc.) or even to applications, with the possibility of including parameters for these applications.

  • Detect workstation language

It is always more enjoyable to receive a message in the right language. Your communication will be all the more efficient. Write your messages in the desired languages and dMessage™ does the rest.
Our software automatically detects the main language used on the workstation and displays the appropriate version of the message.

Sending messages

  • Connect to LDAP directories

dMessage™ automatically interfaces with LDAP directories: Microsoft Active Directory™, Novell eDirectory™, Critical Path™, Apache Directory Server™, OpenLDAP™,etc. Send a message to a single user, a user group or a workstation.

  • Define message filters

With the simple filter system, messages are sent only to the designated recipients. Some examples of filters: membership of a group, presence of a specific file or application on the workstation, etc.

  • Schedule the pop-up display time

dMessage™ has an integrated scheduler that lets you configure when messages are displayed on workstations. Define a period (time range, date, etc.) and all users connected during this period will receive your message.

  • Define priority levels

Not all messages are equally important. You can define a priority level for each message. This will determine how they are displayed when received.

    • - For Information: the message only appears when the recipient opens dMessage™.
    • - Warning: a pop-up message appears.
    • - Alert: a pop-up message appears and the recipient cannot miss it.
