Editing

Use the editing console to design and manage templates for your most frequently sent messages. Once you have created the template, send a message based on this template in just one click. The .rtf file import feature lets you send messages directly from a pre-designed .rtf file. Send genuine information bulletins to your colleagues instead of just plain messages. When editing a pop-up message, you can add links to any kind of document (.pdf, .doc, .ppt, .xls, etc.) or even to applications, with the possibility of including parameters for these applications. It is always more enjoyable to receive a message in the right language. Your communication will be all the more efficient. Write your messages in the desired languages and dMessage™ does the rest. Our software automatically detectsthe main language used on the workstation and displays the appropriate version of the message.

Sending message

dMessage automatically interfaces with the Active Directory. Send a message to a single user, a user group or a workstation.
With the simple filter system, messages are sent only to the designated recipients. Some examples of filters: membership of a group, presence of a specific file or application on the workstation, etc.
dMessage has an integrated scheduler that lets you configure when messages are displayed on workstations. Define a period (time range, date, etc.) and all users connected during this period will receive your message.
Not all messages are equally important. You can define a priority level for each message. This will determine how they are displayed when received.

  • - For Information: the message only appears when the recipient opens dMessage.
  • - Warning: a pop-up message appears.
  • - Alert: a pop-up message appears and the recipient cannot miss it.

Maintenance

dMessage offers quick and easy deployment over all your workstations. Our software requires no dedicated server equipment or database. To function, dMessage simply requires a shared directory.
Each message sent is automatically archived in the editing console. Sent messages can therefore be viewed directly in the console and forwarded with new parameters.
Access to the editing console can be restricted. You define who can and who cannot send messages. The message reception client can be installed independently of the editing console.
dMessage seamlessly integrates into your existing environment. Our software interface is fully configurable. Everything can be customized, from the display window to the toolbar icons. dMessage can be easily adapted to your enterprise style guide.
